our very first child in Somalia
Adumbi, 5SGYouths is proud to annouce our very first adopted boy in Africa. Adumbi has been officially adopted by SGYouths on 5th December 2010 in conjunction with the International Volunteers Day. Every month, SGYouths donates S$500 to sponsor Adumbi's living costs.

Aisha Nadarayanan, 7At the young age of 7, Aisha has lost both her parents in an unfortunate event and is currently being taken care of by MCYS. SGYouths volunteer Jason Tam has been her brother, friend, companion and mentor since the fateful accident and is currently spending approximately half of his salary on her.
About us
About Us
The Singapore Association of Youths (SAY) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation with the Registry of Societies. Our main concern has always been youths and how we can make Singapore a better place for them. SAY is also run purely by a committee of Young Adults and this committee is also known as the Youth Executive Committee (YEC). The YEC is supported by a panel of advisors from various relevant professions and government authorities. We constantly organise interesting activities and events to work towards making Singapore a Youth Hub. Formally known as the Singapore Youth Organisation, we have been very active in the youth community since our founding. Events we organise include Countdown Parties, Youth Day Celebrations, Concerts, Movie Marathons, Halloween Party and Conventions ranging from Anime to CosPlay to Games to Books and of course, to IT. We are also actively involved in community activities like the Youth Olympic Games 2010.
YOG 2010As a vibrant youth community, we believe in building cohesion between youths through sports. That's why we wouldn't miss the opportunity to participate and co-host the Youth Olympic Games 2010 in Singapore.Being Volunteer Management Coordinating NPO, we are tasked to manage each and every single volunteer and station 1 volunteer coordinator at every sporting venue. We were in charge of volunteer recruitment drives, games promotional roadshows and of course, the welfare and training of our volunteers.It has really been an exciting journey for all of us here at SGYouths. We would like to thank all our volunteers who dedicated their precious time to go through the tough training and also everyone who helped out during the games. We would not have been able to do it without everybody's help.Cheers!
